Founded in 2000 by the visionary Ruth Coates, Roycroft Interiors began as a small curtain manufacturing outlet nestled in the heart of Lisburn. From the humble beginnings of operating out of the back of Ruth's house, the passion for design and commitment to quality quickly turned Roycroft into a thriving force in the world of interior design.

Today, located on the vibrant Lisburn Road, we have evolved into a multi-award-winning design studio, celebrated for our exceptional craftsmanship and unparalleled creativity. Specialising in soft furnishings, with a particular expertise in creating the highest quality curtains, our journey has been shaped by the artistry of our dedicated team of seamstresses and designers.

Ruth Coates

Managing Director

Ruth founded Roycroft Interiors from the back of her home in 2000. Since then, she has seen the company go from strength to strength and in 2014 she opened the showroom on the Lisburn Road, right in the hub of Belfast's Interior Design District.

Having manufactured for top design houses across Northern Ireland Ruth wanted to bring her services direct to the public.

Ruth has an undeniable talent for interior design, specialising in contemporary projects. Her complete passion for her career is obvious and inviting her expertise into your home projects is a decision you won't regret.

Anya Coates

Interior Designer

At every turn, Anya draws upon a lifelong passion for design instilled from her upbringing. With a unique appreciation for fabrics and colour, she infuses each project with an elevated and elegant touch, reflecting her clients' unique personalities and lifestyles.

Anya has found profound fulfilment and endless inspiration in her work. Her love for interior design continues to flourish with each project, as she embraces the opportunity to push creative boundaries and exceed expectations.

Eleni Vasilaki

Interior Designer

Eleni's journey with us began nearly a decade ago when she embarked on her career in the field of design. From her humble beginnings as a work experience student, Eleni has blossomed into a seasoned professional with a flair for creativity and innovation.

Throughout her tenure, Eleni has honed her skills and gained invaluable experience working with a diverse array of clients. Her passion for geometric designs sets her apart, as she seamlessly blends form and function to create spaces that are both striking and functional.

Eleni continues to push the boundaries of design, inspiring those around her with her creativity and expertise.

Kathleen Williams

Colour Expert

With a background in Textile Design from Ulster University, Kathleen brings a wealth of expertise and creativity to her role. Since joining Roycroft in 2020, she has become an indispensable member of the team, renowned for her mastery of colors and keen eye for detail.

Kathleen's dedication to her craft is evident in her pursuit of excellence, having completed Farrow and Ball training courses to become our resident paint expert.

Her wizardry lies in her ability to effortlessly match colours together, whether it's infusing warmth into a cozy living room or adding a pop of personality to a corporate office, Kathleen's talent shines through in every project she undertakes.

Monika Mazur

Manufacturing Manager

Monika leads our renowned in-house manufacturing team at Roycroft Interiors, boasting an impressive 17-year tenure. Her exceptional leadership fosters a culture of excellence among our artisans.

As manufacturing manager, Monika's sewing expertise is unmatched, setting the bar for precision and finesse in every stitch. She not only embodies perfection but also mentors our seamstresses to reach her level of meticulousness.

With Monika at the helm, our team consistently delivers soft furnishings that surpass expectations, showcasing our collective dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
